Would you stay with your bf if you found out he has genital hpv? |
yes it is serious..and yes it was contracted before the relationship started. It all depends on how serious the relationship is. maybe it depends weather you would like a sexual relationship Depends on how serious the relationship was, and if he had it before, i probably never would have gotten involved. esshh nah First and foremost, you shouldn't be having relations with a boyfriend. What ever happened to waiting until marriage? I guess we, as a society, haven't quite figured out that we have STD's and we spread them through sex before marriage. Unless you are married (which I'm assuming you are not), HPV can be painful, cause cancer, and you will have it FOREVER. There is no cure. You face a great risk of cervical cancer if you get it and you could have HPV for a long time and not even know it. So, give your body a little more respect, get to a doctor to see if you have it, and stop having sex with people that you aren't going to marry within the next 2 months! My heart goes out to you. I honestly wouldn't. HPV is forever and can cause cancer. First off get the Guardisil shots (protects against 4 strands of HPV) then talk to your doctor about ways to minimize your chances of getting it. You know all those commercials like "Oh he has it and i dont and we've been together for 5 years." well me and my husband are still together and i just found out i have HPV but i got it from him when he was with his baby's mama so it was before we were married |
