Are there other diseases that look like hpv? and can you get it from a cut?

well a while back i got a small cut on my penis and the next couple of days it started to look infected (not puffy red usual kinda infection but small bumps). there is no pain or itching at all and ive seen pictures that look almost exactly like this but i only have these bumps around the bottom edge of the head, there are spots on the shaft too but you can only see them if the skin is slightly strectched. there were two bumps on my scrotum but i was able to pop them i've heard you can only get hpv from sexual contact but im still a virgin and have avoided sexual contact of all kinds just incase idont see how it can be hpv. but im still very worried about what it is. is there another virus that looks like hpv? and if so is there a cure for it? and is it possible to get hpv from something other than another person? any helpful answers will be greatly apprectiated. thank you

Well, I don't think you have an std such as HPV as long as you haven't had sexual contact. If you had a wart on your hand, you are able to get a common wart on your genital area, as it could have entered through the cut.

Warts are also unable to be popped- they are not like a blister- they are hardened pieces of skin. I would go to your local doctor, or a sexual health clinic and get them to take a look.
