If you have been high risk for HPV, does that mean you will actually get it or...? |
does it mean that if you got the shots it will keep it away. I was told I was high risk for it, but did not not have it. What are my chances of me actually getting it? My ob/gyn just said I was at high risk for the hpv. She said if I got it then it would turn into cervical cancer. Women's risk for HPV comes from sexual exposure. If you don't have it, you can reduce risk by using condoms. The level of risk comes from the number of unprotected sex partners--the higher that number the greater risk. if your high risk for HPV your doctor is calling you promiscuous... if you have HPV he is calling your specific type of HPV high risk for cervical cancer.... sorry to hear about it.... good luck! |
