if a person has HPV and he/she gives you oral sex, can you become infected? If a person has hpv, maybe they should stop thinking about sex. It means you slept around. yes i dont think so, but im not a 100% sure. HPV is transmitted sexually through intimate genital to genital contact, including vaginal or anal intercourse or only rarely through oral sex. Transmission can also occur during genital skin to genital skin contact without sexual intercourse. Huh? How can you get HPV if someone gives YOU oral sex? If you have SEX with someone else and they have HPV then yes u can get it...but not the way you're saying...I'd doubt it. Yes. YES you can, have sex when married If a person has HPV they most likely have it on their genitals not their mouth... so if they give you oral sex then not likely, however there are rare cases of people getting HPV in their throat from giving oral sex to someone with HPV i worked at a family planning clinic once upon a time. yes you can spread the virus from oral, vaginal or anal sex. and yes i have seen patients with this. go to the planned parenthood web site. they have info on all of the std's |
