Which 4 types of HPV have been linked to cervical ca.? |
It's been awhile, thanks for the input. Thanks Uncola, this has been on my mind for like 2 days. There's more than four. 6 11, 16 and 18 Your the Doc on this.......I realize that women need to know how to protect themselves against the HPV...but sometimes I feel that the women who have never had more than 1 partner and each have had only each other and then come up with cervical cancer are lumped in that HPV category . When you say cervical cancer now people raise an eyebrow like " I know what you been doing" and my grandmother and mother and I had it and I know no one had multiple partners nor were the partners being other than with them.With there being so much on it as a sexual cancer it really puts a stigma on it!! to Cutiebot... |

No. If you get the HPV shot, honestly you have NOTHING to worry about. Even if you haven't yet you having nothing to worry about. Just make sure you get it. Im not even sure how this is an STD... Sorry. That medication is for females to prevent certain types of HPV that can possibly cause Cervical Cancer. Also, females have to have the injection prior to exposure to HPV, not effective if gi... Ask your doc. as well as the shop you are going to. ...It's frustrating however they will eventually go away. I wouldn't have him take oral supplements for treatment esp. OTC Vit. A, it's not water soluble and it gets stored by the body... |
