My girlfriend has hpv, is there ANY acts we can perform?

So my new girl has hpv, she's been completely honest with me about everything. She had a Cervical L.E.E.P. and everything went beautifully. I realize that HPV is a virus that never goes away completely, but will we ever be able to have sex? It's definetly putting a strain on our relationship, not by me, she feels she can't get close to me without putting me at risk. I'm clean as a whistle, are their ANY sexual acts that we can safely perform? Will we be able to have sex eventually? Is there a male vaccine that I could get to protect myself? Is there something she could do to lessen the chance of me getting HPV? And no, anal is not an option, thanks tho.

I was diagnosed with genital herpes two days ago. The psychological strain has been awful. It never goes away, you can pass it even when there is no outbreak,...blah..blah...blah...all sounds like hell. Now the virus is a visitor, a parasite, that won't kill you - unless you have a weakened immune system. It only erupts during certain stresses. So good diet, good sleep habits, and good mental hygiene, and some medications for the worst outbreaks should keep the visitor quietly residing hidden in your nerve cell bodies. But screw up, don't sleep, eat poorly and bang its out looking for a better host.....Now the stats say that one in 5 adults have herpes or some sort or other, they can live in any old bunch of nerve cell bodies. So even if you left your girlfriend, there is what,...a 20% chance that your next girl could have the virus as well. Since people can carry the virus and not know it, every person you meet is a potential risk. The paranoia becomes monstrous. So lets back the truck up, your girl is trying to do what is best. If you really love her, and plan to be monogamous, then stay with her and do what you enjoy. Keep both of you as healthy as possible, use condoms to prevent pregnancy and refrain during outbreaks. Get on with your life. This virus has been around a long time, just get the little bastard in perspective.

this is for bubblez. HPV is undetected in men so that doesn't mean anything that he's clean. He's clean on the outside, but hpv lives in tissues thats why its soo tricky to detect in men. Report It

Anal wouldn't protect you anyway. Use a condom. You should be doing that anyway. Condom every single time no exceptions. Oh, and there is no vaccine to keep you from getting it. You have to think carefully if this is a risk you want to take. Because even with a condom, under certain circumstances you can still get it from fluids getting on your testicles and so on. Personally, I wouldn't go there.

One of my guy friends girlfriend has HPV. and they found out before they started sleeping together(unprotected). and he gets tested once a month. Now, they've been together for more than 4 years..and he is still clean..:-)
