HPV any link to common warts?

I get warts and been getting rid of them for over a year, small ones on my fingers, never big clusters, except maybe little less than half and inch wide. Is there a chance of getting HPV and cervical cancer and all that? I'm planning on staying with the same guy and never been with anyone else, same with him

Also, what are the chances of the warts spreading to my privates or mouth? Anywhere on body? Hasnt happened yet and i believe they are all gone, just got all frozen and blisters peeling off, may have to get that one frozen again though to be safe.

There are many different strains of HPV (slightly different variations).

Some cause genital warts, some cause cervical cancer/anal/vulvar/penile/throat cancer, some cause common warts on the hands/feet, some have no symptoms.

The strains of HPV that are most likely to blame for common skin warts are HPV-1 or HPV-2, and HPV-5 (Not an exhaustive list)

Different HPV strains have their "preferred" location for infection. The "common" wart causing strains on the hands/feet would rarely be transferred to the genitals. It is possible, but not very likely at all. However, you should always take the precaution of not touching other parts of your skin/body after touching other warts.

It can be common for certain strains of common wart-causing HPV to establish a life-long infection with sporadic outbreaks.

But be assured that the strains of HPV that cause common skin warts do not lead to cervical/vuvlvar/penile/anal cancer.

hpv does cause warts went the doctor yesterday and she gave me this paper work to read it cause gentail warts and warts in the upper respirartory tract theres is no treatment for hpv infection but the condtions it causes can be treated
