Hpv.. vacine.. my daughter just got it..??

I know kinda of late to worry now.. but she said she wanted it.. mainly because she was getting a few of her missed shots.. and why not include it. . is there any one out there that got it and was glad they did. got it and was sorry.. or did not and wish they did??

btw she is 16 and never had a bf.,.. computer crazy to much to go out and get one..lol

Whatever side effects she may or may not have (most likely will not have) I can assure you are not near as bad as cervical cancer is. My daughter is 17 and I want to get her vaccinated as soon as possible. Make sure to take your daughter for her follow up vaccinations, they give the HPV vacc in 3 different shots. You did the right thing and should not worry about it until/unless she gives you reason to. All meds have side effects and there are alot of people out there that read the pamplets and all of the sudden have all of them. Chances are god willing your daughter is going to be fine and much better off in the future.

No, it is good she had it. No matter what it still helps. There are so many different kinds of HPV. Some cause warts on your fingers and some warts down there. Some cause cervical cancer and etc. This vaccine will help with all these problems.

it depends there there are 7 types out there and only 4 vaccines plus if she want to havee kids the shot decreases the chances

It's a great thing that she got it. Why would you wish that you didn't get a vaccine that prevented cancer? You're a great mother, and should be proud of yourself.
