Does HPV always show signs of Genital Warts? |
Because I have had it for a year now, but I have never had any symptoms of Genital Warts. Thank you guys. I do get checked, 2 times a year, and I have had my 3 Gardisil shots from preventing the worst kinds of HPV. Most commonly, genital types of HPV do not cause any symptoms at all. Usually, the infection goes away or is suppressed by the body before any problems develop. However, sometimes the infection persists, causing abnormal cells to form. In the case of high-risk (potentially cancer-causing) types of HPV, the only way to know you have the virus before cervical cancer develops is to be screened using both a Pap and (if you are 30 or over) the HPV test. By catching persistent infections while they are still relatively early in their development, abnormal cells can be detected and removed before they become cancerous. That is why periodic testing for HPV is so important. No as you have found out I dont know if this will help you but all i know is that the HPV Vaccine helps prevent a CERTAIN KIND of genital warts that may cause HPV.. sorry if that doesnt help I think you need well educated by the two different STD types.
