Hpv testing?

i recently heard u can get hpv orally, so when I go to the doctor what kind of test do I ask for?

i thought a pap was just for vaginal

There is a light test that your dentist can use that can detect pre-cancer cell changes of the oral area. More information on oral cancers www.oralcancerfoundation.org

Your Pap smear is a sampling of cervical cells.

Different doctors for different areas

If you engage in anal sex see a proctologist for an anal pap smear.

Sometimes a dermatologist that specializes in skin cancer is the right doctor for high risk vulva issues

A dentist is who will look at the oral tissues.

I wish you well.

just tell them u want a pap smear

Yes that's correct and in addition to Pap smear, there is also a HPV DNA test via blood that's very accurate.
