Is there a test for men for HPV? If so than where and how is this procedure performed? |
My husband had an affair...I come up with HPV and no one seems to know the source. He says he doesn't have it and won't be tested...the adultress is claiming she has never had it and is willing to show proof that she is clear. So how do you know if your partner has it or not? Is there a test for men, most sites say, no! This is unbelievable...so women keep getting infected and tested and treated and sick and men go on about their business and all is well with the world?!?! Not sure how often the CDC updates their information but here is what they say: Same situation here, there is a test, although it is less popular and less known, (thanks men in medicine!!) my doctor uses a swab on the inside of the tip of the penis and it only takes 24 hours to get the results. Unfortunately, some men are only carriers and never have an outbreak so we hardly ever find out until it's too late for us. I ended up with cervical cancer caused by HPV so I know This is a lie. There is a test for men because men are carries as women are as well. If you have a disease that you suspect is caused from your husband who cheated, you can sue him actually for with holding a disease that you contracted! I would threaten him with a lawsuit if he does not take this test. Otherwise you can go through with it and more than likely it will be ruled in your favor because the mistress is clear. On the otherhand, HPV can be contracted through tampons too. Do not use any scented tampons. Your own body can also cause HPV. There are bacteria in your body that cause this and either go away on their own or develop into cancer cells. If I were you, because you have HPV you need to also be tested for ovarian cancer which most doctors will not tak about with many patients under the age of 56. Insist on a CA 125 test. If you have HPV its important to get this test as well. Dont let a doctor tell you no. I do understand your frustration because I also have this horrible infection and my bf is also saying he doesn't have it but I wasn't having sex for 2yrs until I met him and suddenly within the 1st year of our relationship I found out that i had it and my doc told me that there is no test for a man to find out if they have it . |
