If i have HPV and im pregnant will if effect the baby?

i had the laser surgery when they remove the precancer cells about 3 yrs ago..

What strain of HPV do you have? The only way it will affect your baby is if you have active warts. In that case your doctor would just do a c-section. There will be no affect on your baby.

no. it will not "effect" the baby. what the hell are you on yahoo answers for? talk to your doctor.

I have HPV too and i was also curious about this question and the answer i got is no it can't affect your baby what soever inless you are taking medication for it.

It can affect your baby during birth. But only if your infection is active at the time. Your were treated and you are probably fine.

the true answer is that there IS a chance of passing it to your child during birth.. if the warts are there or not. the virus is sit in your blood which can cause warts to develop in your babys esophagus.
