HPV Virus and Oral sex/mouth cancer? |
I was in a relationship with my boyfriend for 5 years when i discovered I had the HPV virus (neither of us had been unfaithful so it was just something one of us had previously) ...I have regular smear tests and am fine that way but I'm so worried about mouth cancer as we use to have oral sex and I'm worried I might get mouth cancer in the future now. I have regular dental checkups but occasionally I get ulcers in my mouth and I'm worried I might have undetected mouth cancer or what I can do about preventing it or getting tested for oral cancer help?! you're right about HPV being able to cause mouth cancer, but it is not something to be too worried about. keep getting regular dental checkups and tell your dentist that you're worried about it and want him/her to check regularly. |
