Can a girl who carries the HPV virus transfer it to me through her giving me oral? DESPERATE! HELP!? |
A girl recently gave me oral (went down on me) who says she carries the HPV virus. She was not having an outbreak at the time and hasn't had one in 4 years. You cannot get that from recieving oral sex. The disease exists in her vagina. "Genital HPV is passed on through genital contact, most often during vaginal and anal sex. A person can have HPV even if years have passed since he or she had sex. Most infected persons do not realize they are infected or that they are passing the virus to a sex partner. You don't know for sure that you haven't picked up the virus as well, sweetheart. Chances are high that you did get it, I'm not really sure about the percentage. But it is possible to get an STD through oral sex. It actually depends if you used a condom or not, if you used a condom your chances of getting her infection or disease are lower. Even if you have no symptoms, I wouldn't take any chances hun. Just go and get checked out by a doctor - that's the only way you'll for sure know 100%. It's best to do it before, rather than later so you don't spread the disease any more. Good luck sweetheart. If all she did was give you oral, then it unlikely you will have it because from what i know up to now, STD's are rarly transmitted through saliva. |
