I know that your not allowed to have sexual intercourse, but are you still allowed to masterbate or would it affect the meaning of the shot? thanks guys. got my first shot yesterday It won't affect it. The Gardisal shot is a series of 3 shots. Not inexpensive. They protect against most types of HPV including Genital warts. If you have been sexually active already and have acquired a strain of the HPV, the shot will not protect you against that strain. If you have never had sex and have the shots, you are protected fully. Masturbation is the best to stay away from getting STI's. You are safe with masturbating. What do you mean you cannot have sex? You get the shot in hopes to prevent certain strains of the virus, which is transmitted through sex. Masterbation has nothing to do with nothing. You cannot grab a disease out of the air and give it to yourself through masterbation. |
