My boyfriend just told me he has hpv?

he said im a cheater and i must have screwed a couple of guys but i havent done anything with anyone. we have been together for 7 years since im on the patch i get pap smears every 6 months yes every 6 months i hate it but it must be done. now he comes out with this unless this is a joke a very cruel one im very scared and i dont know what to think or do. according to him he went to employee health got urine test done and the doctor pulled him to the side and was told he has hpv wtf can someone please explain this to me it makes no sense.

HPV is a wart - it takes many years for a wart to grow...if he's not educated about what he has, he can easily think he got it from you. But truthfully if you're that ANAL about checking yourself - Dr might've noticed if you had HPV? Maybe he overlooked it?
I think yearly PAPs are sufficient - so you're kinda overboard on Dr appts - unless there's something wrong with you
You may have it & not know it.. (I have NO CLUE where I got my HPV - because it takes so long to grow!)

if you were a virgin when you met him, he could definitely be the carrier. It happened to my best friend. she contracted HPV and now she has to go in every 6 months for a pap seeing as the HPV virus has many different strains that can cause cervical cancer.

your boyfriend needs to get a complete physical done. you don't know what else he has...was he tested for HIV and other STDS as well? i truly hope that he does for your sake. life's too short and he should take responsibility for his actions. good luck to you.

he cheated on you because if you had negative test then .. male's are carriers of hpv and have no symptoms they can get it form a woman and give it to another very easily..... he's trying to pin it on you becaus ehe most likely cheated

he could of had this before he even met you its herpes hard to be diagnosed cuz you have to have a breakout they don't usually test for this you have to ask your doc

my husband and i descussed it. we think he cheated on u and this is him getting caught and his way of telling u. if u dont have it and he does, than he cheated and he is lying about it.

Maybe your boyfriend had HPV before you got it. You can go to the std database site called pozcupid .com to check that out.

There is a extremely low chance of him having HPV without signs before he met you and had it all these years BUT how weird when he outwardly blames you out of no where(hmm..sounds a tad bit strange). Although I find that impossible of happening, you would never know the true answer. I do not care how long you been with him, you'll be surprised the many husbands/wives and long term relationships that goes to dust because of miscommunication, dishonesty, and unfaithful partners.

I think you need to have a serious talk with him and if he had the nerve to accused you (if you had never cheated before, and you have proof of checkups with your doctor), then he has some explaining to do..

The saddest part is STD's is no joke. All of them puts everybody's lives at risk, your's, your boyfriend's, and possible children you may have in the future. It's a shame that people have to lie.
