About Gardasil / HPV vaccine side effects?

i just got my second Gardasil shot yesterday, and the bones in my arm where it was injected have been hurting since then. it's not seriously painful, and it's not soreness either, but it feels like what happens to my ankles if i leave it in front of an air conditioner and then afterwards the cold wind makes the bones hurt. is this pain in my arm normal? it happened when i got my first shot as well, but i didn't give it much thought. i'm kinda worried that the vaccine is bad for bones, is that why we have to wait for 2 months before taking the next shot?

The same thing happens to me every 3 months when I get my Depo birth control shot. It usually goes away in about a week. I think it may have to do with the fact that the substance in the shot is cold when it travels through your arm. Also, I don't think it's your bones that hurt, I think it's more likely your muscles. If it worries you, why don't you call the doctor and ask them to explain why it hurts in more scientific terms.

It's normal to have pain after the shot, and it varies from person to person. Mine hurt like crazy, but it went away. You should be fine. If it persists or gets worse you might want to give your doctor a call just to make sure.
