Can you have genital warts and not have HPV? |
If I have had the HPV vaccine and was tested for HPV last month and test results were negative and I haven't had a new sexual partner could I have genital warts? I have a bump that looks like it could be a wart but I thought genital warts WAS HPV? Anyone know? Genital warts is HPV, but there are many strains of the virus. The vaccine only protects against a few of the strains. Go to the doctor and have them check it out. It could be a wart that can be easily treated. Just get it looked at. Genital warts IS caused by HPV. |
