Has anyone else thought they CONTRACTED HPV from the Gardasil vaccine???

I took a test for HPV a few months before I received the Gardasil injection and again at the time of the vaccination. Both tests returned negative. It wasn't until 5 months after my last shot that I was told the shocking news that I had HPV and was to then receive two separate procedures (including a LEEP) to have the infected area now corroding my cervix removed. Has anyone else had this happen? I know 4 acquaintances that have. Is GARDASIL GIVING WOMEN HPV?????

I wouldnt doubt it, they do all sorts of secret things to vaccines just to see what it does to people. Congrats guinea pig, I always tell everyone to stay away, but they hardly ever listen.

HPV can lay dormant for up to 5 years showing no signs or symptoms at all including your paps. If you are or have been sexually active at all you could have got it that way but there's no way to know. I don't believe in immunizations but a lot of times the immunization is a live virus that your body is supposed to fight off, hence being immune to it. If your immune system is weaker than normal then by all means I guess you could have got it that way. I had been with my husband for 4 years before I found out I had it. I never had the shot and never had an abnormal pap before so it was just laying low.

Gardasil does not contain a live virus. It is a man made virus like particle.

Gardasil only prevent two low risk HPV types 6 and 11 and two high risk HPV types 16 and 18. They are over 30+ high and low risk HPV types that affect the genital area, oral and cervix

A single Pap may miss abnormal cells. It can take years for abnormal cells to occur.
