I only got one dose of the Gardasil HPV shot- long term side effects?

I don't plan on getting the next two doses because I'm scared of the long term side effects like cancer, infertility, etc. Do you think I will still be affected if there are long term side-effects (only got 1 dose)? Do you know what ingrediant in the vaccine might cause any long-term effects? because if the vaccine didn't do anything for two years, what are the chances it will in 5,10, or 20 years? I also heard that the vaccine is no different from other vaccines.

Do you have any idea how much money is being thrown by the religious right to make this drug look bad? Their belief is that if women do not have repurcussions to having sex like STIs and pregnancy they will have sex. That would be a sin.

I'm not saying the drug companies are in it for your interest either, they want to make a buck. Don't rely on the media to give you a fair and unbias review of this or any other controversial issue. EDUCATE yourself!

Did you know that the number of side of effects that were seen in the Gardasil injections completely and totally matches the general population?

A girl was epileptic and died as a result of a seizure.... people with epilepsy sometimes die from seizures. A girl with a heart condition had a heart attack and died. Sometimes seen in people with heart conditions.

Are there risks, of course, but thousands of girls die of cervical cancer every year too. You have to weigh those options. No one knows what having an ipod plugged into your head for hours a day will do to you but I'm guessing most people don't think anything of it.

Well you should of thought of the "long time effects" before you even took the first shot.

&& the shot prevents you from geting cervical cancer. The idea of the shot is to protect you and for you NOT to think it is birth control or will protect you from any diseases. If your THAT worried - simply use a condom so you won't have to worry about increasing your chances.

You are a fool if you dont follow that series. That shot is a miracle that is way more likely to save your life than hurt you. You need to finish.
