Concern with my hpv and vaccine? |
ok... here we go.... i have hpv... afterwards when i found out i got my vaccine shots for hpv prevention... the doctor said i need to and that i could because i had a very very minor hpv type... others type you usually are not .... ok now i dont know now scince i cant get the other 3 main hpv.....am i still contagious to my partner of my low hpv even if i took the vaccine to prevent that particular one???? can he still get it or it doesnt protect him either? example... boom boom skeet skeet no comdom... i have vaccine shots but i have hpv .... will he be infected??? The vaccine will NOT cure your strain of HPV, only prevent you from catching the other strains. This means that your partner is still at risk for being infected. In all honesty, soooo many people have HPV. Talk to your partner about it and be honest... think of going to your physician or a STD clinic and having a professional speak to the two of you about the risks. Most people will have some form of HPV and never even know it... Good luck =) Now a days everyone has some sort of HPV. So on that note your not alone. Your partner is definatley prone to it if you have an outbreak. Usually it goes away by itself. I wouldnt worry to much. You should always practice safe sex though. |
