Im scaRED about HPV. pls help?

hi there! im a male and im self-diagnosing myself as being infected by the HPV virus because of the presence of genital warts around the head of my penis, but they are just small.. pls help me answer my questions in my mind because since i know that im infected, i feel so dirty about myself and i feel so worthless.. pls help me answere these:

1. should i be alaramed and nervous?
2. do these small bumps will further grow? it's about 10 months and its not changing its size?
3. Does this also mean that im HIV infected?
4. will i be denied in job oppurtunities because when there is a medical and physical exam, they can see my warts that will cause of non-acceptance to jobs?
5. Do i still have a chance of having a wife and kids??
6. what should i do best?

tnx for those who will reply and answer my questions.. aprpreciate it!

1. No, HPV is warts, just like the kind you get on your finger, and if you're male they have no ill effects.

2. The size varies; rarely do they get bigger than 1/2 inch. Anyway, a doctor can freeze them off.

3. LOL, no, the two things have nothing to do with each other

4. LOL, no. Unless you work in pornography ;-)

5. Of course you do, HPV is not contagious if there's no wart present. You probably don't want to give it to your wife, since some strains of HPV are linked to a higher risk of cervical cancer in women (well, obviously women, since they're the only ones with a cervix LOL)

6. Forget about it, 90% of HPV cases cure themselves within 2 years. If it sticks around longer than that, just wear a condom or don't have sex while there's a wart present, and go to a doctor and have him freeze it off.

HPV is warts! Warts on your finger are HPV too. There is no reason to feel ashamed and worthless, most American adults will have it at some point in their lives, and it's such a minor thing, it's like, "who cares?"

Lastly, go to a doctor and have him diagnose you for sure, because what you think are warts may be something else, you never know. My friend once thought for sure he had herpes, it looked just like herpes, and it turned out it was just a staph infection.

Well the first thing I would like to say is that you should definitely go to the doctors to be sure that is what you have. If it is that, they will give you something to get rid of them. but you will always have the virus and sometimes they can come back again.no it doesn't mean you have HIV. If it is changing in size it could be because your not doing anything about getting treatment. No you will not be denied jobs, this is very common STD to have today? You definately have a chance of having kids. What you should do best is just stay confident and you will be fine, if it is HPV its not the end of the world just make sure you do get evaluated.

I recommend reading http://www.hpvforum.com and http://www.cdc.gov. you will feel much better. Try to relax, and most of all remember to thank God for his mercy. The important thing is to ask for forgiveness, and to correct your future behavior (by remembering). Just wait until you get married.......I know it's not the most popular thing to say....but it's not worth the risk. May everything work out just fine for you.

Just to answer one, you should take every precaution. You should never gamble with something like this.
Schedule an appointment with your doctor or at your nearest health department and have them checked out. If it's something serious then it may not be too late to treat it and get rid of it.

So please please please use a condom every time and get those checked out.

Number one. Yeah I'd be alarmed a little
Number two...They may grow and spread to other parts of your penis
Number 3..It does not mean you have HIV it does mean that if you sleep with someone who has HIV your chances of catching HIV increase..
Number 4..No and NO
number 5..Yeah of course
Number 6..I'd get a std test or go to the doctor..Self diagnosing yourself is not very accurate..My ex had bumps on his penis and it wasn't hpv..Lots of guys have these bumps

dude you really need to quit with the toads

should i be alaramed and nervous?

People that are diagnosed with HPV go through lots of emotions鈥larmed and nervous are some of them.

do these small bumps will further grow? it's about 10 months and its not changing its size?

Genital warts can stay the same regress or progress.

Does this also mean that im HIV infected?
No HIV is not HPV (Human Papilloma Virus)

will i be denied in job oppurtunities because when there is a medical and physical exam, they can see my warts that will cause of non-acceptance to jobs

Many people have HPV and I have not know of anyone not be be given a job due to having this virus. HPV is spread through sex or sex play.

Do i still have a chance of having a wife and kids??

A large portion of the population have an HPV type or two鈥ost marry and have children. In most cause HPV will be handled by the immune system.

what should i do best?

I think you should have a medical diagnoses of the bumps. There is a chance they may not be due to HPV鈥owever if they are then Aldara could be prescribed or the doctor to use other treatments to help remove the outgrowth of the virus.

I wish you well.
