Spermicide and HPV? |
I am married, I already have HPV and I am quitting the birth control pills and trying to get some barrier method instead. My husband and I hate the condoms unless I am ovulating. We are planning on having kids in 3-4 years. Does the spermicide on the sponge, diaphragm, ovules, or foam has any effect on HPV? I just got a normal pap smear and dont want to screw that up by putting sperm killer in my cervix. I am not trying to clear the HPV. I am trying to use birth control with no hormones that doesnt make the HPV that I already have worst. Sorry, there is not a spermicide out there that will protect against HPV. |
