Can you tell when you have HPV? |
i'm going for my first pap scan sometime soon , and i'm nervous because i'm still freaking out about that bumb. i talked to my friends about it and they said it could just be an irritation down there, but it's been there for awhile , so i'm not sure... no not necessarily. HPV is different types. You can get genital warts from two types. You should know if there are warts from this. The other one to worry about causes cervical changes or cancer. a pap will detect precancerous cells from the hpv. have the doctor look at the bump, she will know what it is and it may be a wart. okay. i was just diagnosed with that recently. they have gone away with treatment. but now i am watching my immune system and trying to get the virus out of my system by taking a multivitamin, lycopene, olive leaf extract and vitamin c. also i work out and i sleep and i eat right. i have read the average duration of this virus is 8 months. it is time to get that checked out so you can begin getting rid of it. oh ya i have started the gardisil series to help with the other strains. it could be but it would be a positive for hpv..i used to have it now im negative!dont stress!use protection from now on...your body is all you have!love yourself!many females have it its a lesson! no, not usually. i heard that you don't even know you have it (unless you get tested) until you die. Not all HPV strains give visable signs (like warts) . A pap should tell you if you have any dysplasia due to HPV. On the upside, HPV can eventually pass from your system.
