Ok, this is whats going on Dr. said it looks like its condyloma youre papsmere is normal it is not HPV.?

Burning like five warts with some kind of cream, the warts are not located anywhare around my genetals they are on my lower butt. Dr. did not seem very concern about them.?

Your Pap smear didn't see any abnormal cervical cell changes. The Pap smear only takes cell of the cervix no vulva cells are taken.

An HPV test only screens for high risk HPV types. Most visible genital warts are due to low risk HPV types 6 or 11. They are over 30 high and low risk HPV types that affect the genital area.

Your pap smear is negative...you don't have cervical cell changes....your HPV is negative...you do not have high risk HPV types of the cervix.

There is no screening test for the vulva...as with the male...the female is diagnosed via a visual of the vulva...HPV of the vulva.

Your doctor is not concerned with them because he can treat them...you however can transmit them...

Condyloma is a fancy name for genital wart.

The genital are is considered any were south of the belly button and to just below the panty line of the buttox....

At one time we were told think of wearing a pair of boxer shorts鈥?in where in this area you can find genital warts.

Definition of Condyloma
Condyloma: A wartlike growth around the anus, vulva, or glans penis. There are three major types of condylomas, each of which is sexually transmitted. These include condyloma acuminatum or genital warts, condyloma latum (a form of secondary syphilis), and condyloma subcutaneum or molluscum contagiosum.
The word "condyloma" comes from the Greek "kondylos" meaning a knuckle or knob. The same Greek root gave rise to the word "condyle" referring to a rounded articular surface of a bone as, for example, the lateral condyle of the tibia (the rounded bony prominence on the outside of the ankle).

All warts are caused by a type of HPV virus, but the types that live on your butt are completely different from the types that could live on your cervix and affect your pap smear! The warts/HPV on your butt are annoying, but completely harmless, hence the doctor is not concerned.
