What are your opinions of the gardasil HPV shot?

have you gotten it? If so, do you regret it? Aren't you scared of the long term outcomes?


I heard many horror stories about it. I got my first dose yesterday, don't plan on getting a second dose because I'm afraid of getting paralyzed,becoming sterile, dying, and a bunch of other adverse effects. Also, no one knows the long term effects.

That article link you posted is:
1. From a Christian conservative newsletter, whose publishers believe that girls who get Gardasil turn into sluts, so they'd rather scare you with lies than let you get vaccinated for a virus that transmits via sexual contact. Apparently they hate rape victims.
2. Cites the VAERS report, which is a diary of any and all reports of adverse events that happen after a person gets a vaccine. This report is seldom checked for veracity. Anyone can add an entry. Remember folks: at least one of the reports is a girl who died in a car crash. How a vaccine crashes a car is beyond me.

I am not getting it, when they tested it on rats they became infertile. =/

Even if i was young enough for it, I wouldn't get it because you STILL have to get regular pap smears.
