Can HPV prevent me from getting pregnant? |
A little more than 2 years ago I had an abnormal pap smear turned out to be HPV but I had pap smears every 6 months after the abnormal one and so far they have been coming up normal. But can this HPV cause any problems with me trying to get pregnant? just want to add something my hpv is not the kind related to warts No, HPV does not prevent you from getting pregnant. I have HPV too and i have two beautiful babies. I found out a year ago. Me and my husband want to try to have third one, so i ask doctor about this and he said no. He also said if a woman with HPV have alot of warts at the time she give birth then she have to have a C section just for the safety of the baby. Other wise everything will be fine. Our body will fight with the Virus and clear it up within 1 - 2 years. You just need to take good care of your self like relax, eat alot of fruit and vegetable because they have alot of vitamine and help to boot up our immunity system to fight with it. You can take some vitamine too if you want to. IT will go away within time. The important things is we need to go to doctor to check up often for safety side. Hope this information help you out.
