Can I Still Get Good Health Insurance if I Have Had HPV/Condyloma? |
I contracted genital warts/condyloma from a sexual assault. It's the kind that just causes lesions on the genitals and does not cause cancer or any type of health problems. First off, do not get depressed over that my dear. Nearly 90% of all humans carry some form of HPV in their bodies. You are not alone and it's not rare. Never put yourself down for that. You will not be considered anything like that because many people carry the wart virus and actually have them. Some don't even know. Second of all, genital warts are not life-threatening. I cannot imagine that would be considered a pre-existing condition! Things like cancer, high blood pressure, and diabtes are all pre-existing conditions. You should be fine with getting good health insurance in the future. With most insurance companies if there are preexisting issue they insure you for every thing but that condition. They make you wait X number of years with out a flair up of that and then cover it also. My husband had a brain tumor in 1989 and I have been able to add him to my health insurance through my employer. They didn't ask any questions at all when I put him on my policy and they cover his neuro oncology visits. as long as it's not cancer causing i don't think it will affect you getting good health insurance. healthquotes.awardspace.info - try this one. I have their health insurancs and as I know they can provide coverage with preexisting condition. I'm not an expert on this, however I would suggest you take a tour here http://www.HealthInsuranceIdeas.info/fre... ,there are expert's tips there. |
