Will hpv virus go ever go away?

3 months pregnant diagnosed with hpv today will the virus ever go away or will it be in your system forever will i be able to have unprotected sex with my partner or will have to use condoms forever?

I hope the page at the link below will explain what can be kind of complicated. The good news is that, while it won't actually be exterminated, in most cases, your immune system will suppress the virus within two years at the outside.

Some strains cause genital warts. Some cause cervical cancer by causing changes in the cervical cells before the immune system can suppress them- and suppression is not 100% guaranteed 100% of the time, even for the wart causing strains.

You can have more than one strain, so Pap tests as often as recommended by your doctor ( tell him/her of any history of cancer in your family too) are essential.

And BTW, form the link below: "Risk of transmitting HPV to a baby during birth is low. In those rare cases, the baby can develop warts on her or his voicebox. There is no apparent link between HPV and miscarriage, premature births or other pregnancy related problems. "

i know its scary because i was diagnosed with it 6 months ago. i dont have abnormal cells though. a coloposy is when the remove the abnormal cells before they turn into precancer cells. here are some facts:
-80% of people get HPV at one point inn their lives, most never know it
-90% of peoples immune system clears the virus on its own.
-alot of people get abnormal cells and clear them on their own, but its always better to be safe then sorry (get them removed!)
-10% will have it the rest of their lives. and a small % of those will develop cancer.
-cancer can take up to 10-15 years to develop.
-younger women have a better chance of clearing the virus
-after 2 years you usually have cleared the virus. but you can still get other strains of it. theres over 100. so be more safe.

so, what you need to do, TAKE BEE- PROPOLIS (it helps the most), dont stress out, dont smoke, take vitamins (multi vita, vits c, garlic), exercise, practice safe sex, be happy, and healthy. oh and always get your yearly pap! after 3 normal paps, your usually out of the woods, but still get that yearly pap. it saves lives. HPV isnt that scary once you know that facts, and stay healthy. oh, and you can still have kids, just wait the 2 year until it clears and talk with your doctor. remember, everything is going to be ok. we all make mistakes or get our selves into trouble, but things always work out. feel free to talk to me more if you want. good luck and take care!
