Can your body really fight off HPV ?

My friend has had HPV for about 1 year, the doctors found it about 6 months ago, the doctors say most likely her body can fight it off or it can turn to cervical cancer. What are the likes of it turning to that ? and is there anything she can do to help it ? anything;anyting at all ? advice please and facts.

Yezzir.

Yes, your body can fight it off. in fact most people's bodies fight it off. The CDC says 77% of women will get some form of HPV. (and the number is probably actually higher than that!) Most likely, within 1-2 years, the virus will be reduced to undectable levels in her body.

Most important in the fight against cervical cancer is the PAP SMEAR. She will NOT get cervical cancer if she continues to get check ups. Getting regular pap smears prevents over 99% of cervical cancer. FYI: cervical cancer was the #1 killer of women in the US until the invention of the pap smear. It's still the #1 killer of women in many developing countries. But, by getting regular pap smears, the doctors can catch abnormal cells BEFORE they turn into cancer.

Tell your friend to be healthy, eat vegetables, get plenty of rest, and avoid stress. All those things can help her immune system to fight the HPV. Also, NO SMOKING!!! Smoking is horrible for your immune system. And avoid second hand smoke, too. Women who live with smokers have their chances of cervical cancer increased by 2 and half times.

Supplements such as folic acid, beta glucan, and indole-3-carbinol have also been shown to increase your immune system and help fight HPV.

I would suggest for her to buy "Women's encyclopedia of natural medicine" by Tori Hudson (try Amazon). She describes several protocols for cervical dysplasia and HPV, depending on severity. I went to ND doctor and treatment was about the same as described in the book. It worked for me.

yeah it can
good luck for your friend
