Does anyone have HPV and had a baby?

I was just wondering if having a baby with hpv makes things worse on the women's body after having it.

HPV is VERY common. A majority of women are infected, and most don't even know it. (Until the last couple of years, there was no test for it, and even now testing isn't routine.) In 99.9% of cases, it has no effect on baby or pregnancy. (It does put you at increased risk for certain types of cervical cancer -- which is why we now have a vaccine.)

HPV is very common most women don't know they have it at all.

I was diagnosed with HPV just a blahn strain of it when i was 17 since I had my first child at 20 they have not found it in my system anymore. And she has absolutly no complications nor do i.

I guess it could depend on the staine that you have of it. If the straine you have causes warts or herpes Im sure it would prob make you more uncomforable but for the most part I don't think it causes any serious issues

Good luck

One of my friends had HPV and had a baby. The baby isn't suppose to come in contact with it. this baby did, and has had extremely bad lung/breathing problems ever since. She is constantly on medication, and in the hospital. You could have a baby, but i'm sure the dr would want to do a csection. If you are the one that is in this situation, make sure you talk to your doctor about ALL of the options first!!

I heard that the hormones in pregnancy can cause more severe and frequent break outs.. Im not to sure about afterwards.. Ive heard the baby can contract HPV from the mother if left untreated, and that can be fatal? But im not a professional..

Sad story here...

I knew a woman who had HPV, had a child, and the child died at 4 months. Don't know if they were related any but I know it was so sad because she never thought she could have one in the first place! Terrible. :(

I don't really know about it but I found a good website for you:
