Does the HPV shot get rid of HPV if you already have it?
I have heard that the HPV shot is out now. But is it a preventitive measure, or do they give it to people that do have HPV as well?
I have HPV have been through a colposcopy and biopsy in April and a LEEP in September06. I don't know which strand I have, but it is high risk. My doctor instructed me to ge the HPV shot which is called Gardasil in three months when I go back for my repeat pap. He said that it is beneficial if you already have HPV because most people are not infected with all four types of HPV contained in the vaccine so it will protect you from the ones of one you don't have. It is no a treatment for HPV types that you already have. But you can go to www. Gardasil.com and learn a little more on it. Hope this helps you a little. Source(s): Personal experience and my OB/GYN
No, it is just a preventative vaccine.
It protects against 4 strains of the virus so if you already have one it will protect you against 3 more or if you don't have any of the strains yet it will protect you against all 4....it's worth getting it even if you have 3 different strains of the virus though because at least it will protect you from one
No once you have it, it is with you for life, but the shot can help put it in to remission so to speak, like the Aids cocktail does for someone with HIV. once you have it, it is for life
No, and it can be fatal to get the shot if you already have the HPV virus. Talk to your doctor for more information, but I seen that on one of the commercials when the shot first came out.
Do NOT get vaccinated.
A vaccinated person is MORE likely to get a disease than a non-vaccinated person. The whole theory of vaccination is flawed. It causes a weakening of the immune system thus making those who are innoculated more susceptible to disease.
There are so many awful side effects to vaccination that it should be considered extremely dangerous.
Just sit back and think for a while.
Is there any sense in injecting a disease directly into the bloodstream.
We have been subjected to an awful mind control program to enable the drug manufacturers to make a fortune.
