How many people out there know what HPV is?

I was just informed about an STD Called HPV and I had never heard of it before and saw that 90% of all people who have had sexual intercourse have this STD.

I was wondering who all has heard of it? or has it or knows someone who has it?

I think that the leading #1 STD should have been put out in the open years ago and why it wasn't talked of to teens is beyond me! Its also the leading cause of Cancer for woman so why were we not informed???

never heard of it before i got it. unfortunately they caught it to late so my daughter ended up getting it during birth.
I've heard of it, but don't know anything about it.
It is the human papilloma virus that is associated with genital warts
causes cancer apparantly.
Oh I've heard of it, got the speech, mom's a nurse. So yeah, as you can imagine, condoms are my best friend. Be VERY careful.
I've heard of it.
Very good question - thanks for asking.
If anyone needs information, go to the link, below.
There are MANY STD's that the average person DOESN'T know about.
If we're gonna have sex...EVEN if we just KISS, it is important to know about health risks...from the basic flu, to mono to HIV.
People NEED to be responsibile for themselves and the ones they come in contact with.
