How much is the chance to get an HPV virus if my sexual partner is already infected?

Human papiloma virus is life long.... and once it gets in you will never come out. If the person has blisters/scars that are shedding viruses, contact with such gives you over 90% chance of getting it. Be safe! be wise! learn to say no even if you are horny. Use protection and trust your instincts
If you're having unprotected sex, there's a good chance you'll get it. HPV can even be transmitted when using condoms, like when bare skin rubs against an infected person's skin. It's a risk either way. Just make sure you love the person before you make such a committment. HPV is for life!
I was diagnosed with HPV 2 years ago. It was suprising to me beacause I was in a commited relationship for 3 years and my partner does not have it. I had another pap 6 months later and my pap came back normal. I was told that it barries itself deep within the layers of the uterus and that I could of had it for many many years. The form I had was not accompanied by warts thank god. But it can. I think it would be very easy to contract it from your partner so I would be careful, use protection and talk to your doctor about the risks.
