Can I still give blood if i have HPV?

Can I still give blood if i have HPV?

I think so, because the virus only affects the location it's at. (At the cervix or on the outside if it's the wart-producing kind.) HPV isn't transferred by blood as far as I know, and because 75% of sexually active people have HPV, there's a good chance that they're giving blood too! Source(s): Also HPV positive
