Is it OK to have sex when you have hpv.?


Have a friend that was told she has Hpv, and just wanted to know is it ok to continue to have sex.

well there are about 6-10 diff rent types of hpv, not all of them are std but she should find out what type she has to determine if she should be sexual active, put if she's not in the middle of a break out i think it's okay but there is a medication if she has the strand that causes genital warts Source(s): webmd.com
ONLY with a condom.
You can catch HPV from a infected woman even if you wear a condom. There is no cure for HPV.
