What would be a good insurance company in the US to go through, considering we make considerable money. Not a whole bunch, but better than getting the rip off Cobra. I would recommend finding a local broker that can help you sort through the options in your state. A broker will represent multiple carriers. But a good starting place is Assurant Health they are the largest insurer of individuals in the US and they are the only company that has coverage up to 25 million, most other carriers only go up to 5 and at the most 7 million What's the sub contract part about? Just to identify that you can't get coverage through an employer? You will want to choose a well known and reputable nationwide company with a large network of providers.
