Health Insurance Sales?

I am very interested in health care (health insurance) I just switched from an employee sponsored plan to an HSA. I am saving alot of money and I have been researching health insurance for a couple of months and have really become somewhat knowlegeable in HSA's. I want to make a career change and this just kind of came together for me.

I can get my license in a few DAYS at a local college. But I dont know how the insurance game works...I know it's very competitive, but I have alot of family, friends, and associates who are self employed or small business owners and Im a business person myself. I can make it work.

I want to start p/t as a broker and slowly build my business. Im not interested in working for a company. Can someone (who sells insurance) give me the real deal about the industry.

I don't sell health insurance, I sell discount medical coverage...which means I don't have to be qualified as a broker and I got to start the day I signed up.
