Do most dentists do teeth bleaching at their offices? Is it usually covered by health insurance? |
I have a decent insurance plan, by the way. If dentists don't typically do it, who does? And how much would it cost? So how much does it cost? Liiike $200? I have never worked for an office where we didn't do teeth whitening. Some office only do the trays, and not the "laser" bleaching. Yes, Dentist offices do...Its kind of expensive I think...They have 1-hour bleaching. And I don't think insurance covers it because its more of a cosmetic thing....its not a health issue if you're teeth are not very white...its just looks bad.You would have to check your insurance handbook..its explains the exlcusions Yes, they can bleach your teeth in the office, but no insurance will pay for it because it would be classified as cosmetic and is the a health issue. Yes, a lot of dentists do bleaching. No, it is cosmetic so it won't be covered by your insurance |
