Is there any ceasing age for Health Insurance? |
am in India and talking abt Health Insurance here in India It depends, many carriers won't issue coverage if you are over age 64 1-2. But if you already have coverage you are allowed to keep it. Most people don't realize that your health insurance rates will go up every year based on your age. So it will get pretty expensive. Are you asking if you reach a certain age, you are no longer eligible for health insurance, or that your insurance will be canceled? Legally speaking insurers can not refusecover to senor citizens. In practice they discourage senior citzens with a steep hike in premiums and by imposing various conditions. |
