Does anyone know of a temporary health insurance in Texas that covers contraceptives? |
I need temporary health insurance because my mom's insurance kicked me off (I'm not a full-time student) and I'm not eligible to apply for benefits at work until the fall. I've been on Depo Provera for well over a year now. I know the side effects, and haven't really experienced any. I'm not sure how your sister got pregnant while on it, unless she didn't get the shot on time. yeah call your local planned parenthood i paid only $30.00 for my depo shot and some people pay nothing depends on your income medicaid can cover it for you and they do the paperwork there for you Call your local Health Department if they offer Exams and Birth control you can get it for Free if they do charge you it wont be more than 10-15 dollars i did this for many years until i got health insurance they will give you BC for a full year you might not be able to get depo prevara, that's not a good bc anyways its really bad for your system and can cause you to gain up to 100 lbs it happened to my sister-in-law also she got pregnant on it anyways and had 2 miscarriages but definitely call your local health department Most of them don't. Try your local Planned Parenthood. They offer most types of birth control for low or no cost depending on your income. |

Why would you think that is child abuse? There is state aide for people who can't afford health insurance. Granted, there are some people who should not have kids, but not being able to afford... HMO is $300 a month for medical, dental and vision coverage, $25 copay for an office visit, and a $300 deductible for inpatient care. You can expect to pay $100 per month per person for full ma... For a young healthy guy I would get a high deductible plan coupled with an accident plan. This way your premiums are low and if you get in an accident the deductible is covered by the accident plan... You should purchase health insurance in case you develop a major health problem that is too expensive for you to be able to cover on your own. I am guessing that at 19 years of age you couldn�... It depends, many carriers won't issue coverage if you are over age 64 1-2. But if you already have coverage you are allowed to keep it. Most people don't realize that your health insuran... It is NOT discrimination...it is just pure and simple FACT overweight people are more expensive to take care of due to weight related issues...I feel the same about Smokers...if you CHOOSE to abuse... NO job has a "set insurance" based on the name of the job. It's ALWAYS about the employer. For PT's, many are independent contractors - which means they don't get any... |
