Expired Health Insurance?

I just went to Walgreens to fill my script, handed over my insurance card. He came back to the counter and said it had expired sometime in April. I was on my ex's insurance through the company he owns. We recently got back together. Do you think he may have cancelled my insurance or just didn't renew it for me? Because if it was renewed, wouldn't I be covered? The card has no expiration date on it.

I have another possibility for you - last night (Saturday) Walgreen's pharmacy server crashed. It was up and down all day yesterday, and I, personally, had a nightmare time picking up a prescription. If you try again today, you might have a different result - or you might have to wait until their main server is fixed.

Ya you can renew it by paying late fee.
