Health insurance in Texas(houston area)? |
Hi we are moving to the Houston area and we plan to buy a business however, we will not be getting health insurance so we need some help. Does Texas offer gov. assistance programs? we have 2 small girls that need coverage and I have diabetes and need insulin supplies. i could only have time for a part time job so would there be any entry level jobs that would offer me insurance? help, help cuz I hear Houston is the capitol of excellent medical practice. any info would help!! You can get insurance for the children through the Texas Children's Insurance Program (CHIP) As the above person mentioned, there is CHIPS, however; very few people qualify for that. You have to be very low income. With you buying a business I am 99.9% sure you will not qualify. |
