I am having trouble finding health insurance? |
Do ya'll recommend any company? I have to wait 6 months to apply with my job's insurance co. since there is a certain time period. The key is to choose a well known and dependable insurance company and not a discount card or other scam. Short Term Insurance, in Colorado, is available from Golden Rule, and Assurant Health. However, you might look at getting an individual policy and keeping it. If you are healthy, it may cost you less money than a group policy, depending on how much of the premium your employer pays. There are a ton of companies out there. What are you looking for? Are you being denied coverage? Are you just not willing to pay how much it costs? Only if your policy covers you getting ill abroad! ...My first thought would be to go to your county health clinic. They should be able to direct you to a program that would meet your needs.
