Nurses being told to re-use sheets instead of washing them between patients. Mis-diagnoses are rampant, and doctors are leaving the system in droves and going private. Well, considering 24% of our budget is already medicare+medicaid, it probably won't be all that bad. Too many. But I don't think mandatory insurance is the solution. Thats just going to put more money in the pockets of the wrong people. Eliminate the middle man who's only purpose seem... The key is to choose a well known and dependable insurance company and not a discount card or other scam. Choose a company like a Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Humana, Assura... HEY! i feel like you're describing me!! ...aside from the minimum wage part, that is... i'm still underpaid (i always will be, too :P), but my company couldn't live w/o me! ...Many plans will give you the option to add on coverage that will cover vision and dental.
