That is the same problem with the IRS. Too much beaucracy! Why not make it simple as OUR NEXT President says. Why spend trillions in Iraq? If we can afford the war why not pay billions so everyone can have universal coverage and let the government pay with our tax dollars.

Yeah you would think, but that will never happen, boy are you fooled! Why would you want free health care anyway? Don't feel great knowing you WORK for a living and earn your medicare? Get a job that pays it for you, mine does! You will NEVER see the word free... it will come out of tax payers money and the ppl who will benefit from it will most likely not work or will be illegal to this country - it's all a scam ppl, wake up!!

Yeah, sure it will (sarcasm). Have you heard about the MAJOR headaches both doctor offices and hospitals as well as the government have been going through just with Medicaid? Universal healthcare is just an enlarged Medicaid. Have you spoken with anyone on Medicaid, they will for certain tell you how it is even worse now than it was before. Give the government any idea and they'll find every way possible to screw it up and make life worse for the American population.

oh yea it will be great. and it will also be great when the supply of doctors drops dramatically due to overburdonsome regulations and heavy taxation. and it will be nice when i have more of my tax money taken from me to pay for someone elses health care. oh and dont forget about how the "government" ie you will be paying higher prices for medicine in the long since doctors will have to fill out more paperwork, conform to more regulations and spend less time treating and helping patients. those things equal demand for doctors up, supply down. but who cares.. its FREE!!! ME LOVE FREE THING!!! YAY!

You are assuming you will find a doctor that takes the government plan which will only pay them something like $.04 on the dollar of their normal rates...

There are millions of people in this country now that have private insurance that still can't get access to quality health care. Coverage is NOT the problem!

I hope that happens for Americans, but as usual, the white guy will win in the end.

Did you (or rather the right wingers here) know, that despite spending more money on healthcare PER PERSON than any other country in the world, the USA has one of the western worlds highest death rates for kids aged under five?

I'm a retired senior and it is nice.

Before I retired I paid $6,000.00 per year with $5,000.00 deductible.

My coverage now costs me $4,000.00 per year. Just myself.

That would be nice however they have not decided as as of yet which plan they want. Hilary wants one that REQUIRES Americans to buy insurance while Obama says that won't work, we might want to wait until they decide before we get all worked up
