Who here has health insurance for their pets? |
if so, how much, what do they cover? and are you happy with it? is it a hassle? do you need your vet to provide a health history? and what are some good companies (in canada) Umm i guess if there was an accident financially it i use pet plan and i love it. i pay about $30 a month and it covers everything but pre-exsisting conditions (no company does). I have a $50 deductible and have 0% coinsurance so no matter what happens to my dog i only pay $50. Also, my plan covers boarding and kennel fees, any advertising fees if your animal runs away, the price of your animal if it does not return, the price of your dog if it has to be put down (aside from old age reasons), and up to $1000 if you have to cancel vacation plans due to your animals health. I would if they have pet insurance for exotics animals (ferrets). The only reason I would get it with my ferrets is because most are prone to cancers. Which would be awesome if I could have insurance to help pay for it. We did not have insurance for my dog, we knew we could pay for anything that popped up. ooo common health insurance on a dog or cat.... theres some poor shmuk dieing of cancer because he cant afford the rising costs of health insurance and your gana increase are rates by insuring your dog!!....
