Will my health insurance change if I move to another state? |
Suppose that I'm 18 and I live in Oregon and I try a job in Washington (It's only 30 miles away). I get corporate housing in Washington. I am currently covered by my parents' insurance. Would it make a difference on my health coverage if I live in Washington for 1 week? 2 weeks? 1 month? How long would I have to live there for it to make a difference? The real question is "are you financially dependent upon", and do you have the same "legal address" as your parents. If yes, in most states you can still be covered. Hope this resources is useful for your question,It is working for me.Have a look,it is free.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/... Probably, yes. Different states have different rules. |
