Is Blue Cross Blue Sheild one of the Leading Insurance Companies for Individual Health Insurance?

Is Blue Cross Blue Sheild one of the Leading Insurance Companies for Individual Health Insurance?

Yes it is. I here it's one of the cheapest too. I've also heard Health-Net is rather good and unexpensive especially if you don't have any pre-existing conditions. Cigna offers pretty good rates as well. You can also look into Eatna.

Blue Cross Blue Shield is a good choice for individual health insurance.

The key to finding the best company for your personal situation is to compare rates from at least 3-5 different reputable companies.

Some of the best companies include Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Aetna, Humana One, Kaiser Permanente, and Assurant.

Here is some more information on how to find the best health insurance company:

Blue Cross is good insurance, but I have heard they don't cover much. I had Kaiser and loved it as it covered everything. But now I had to change as I live in Nevada and got United HealthCare, but it is expensive. I don't know enough about it yet, but was offered thru my ATT group. So hope it works out ok. Linda

Blue Cross Blue Shield is not an Insurance Company. They are a trade name association. For more info go to: http://www.bcbs.com/about/
In Colorado the local affiliate is Anthem, an excellent company. In Utah it's Regal. Who knows?
