Health insurance deductible?

I talked to blue cross blue shield and interested in one of there plan
it around $200/month and $3000 deductible the guy i talking with said the $3000 deductible are only i go to the hospital? for DR. visits are $30 copay and $15 copay for RX
Question is $3000 deductible are only i go to the hospital is true?
and they didn't told me about there limit?

I think that's a bit steep to pay a $3000 deductible if you are paying a $200 monthly premium.
How about you search some more before going for blue shield, see some government funded health plan for instance

or
http://findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov/

View the "benefits at a glance" on the BCBS web site or have "the guy" or agent send you the "benefits at a glance" in the mail.

Without seeing what is being proposed no one can here can tell you you what is true. If you don't undersand what coverage is being offered keep asking questions until you do.

~~Your deductible will apply to hospitalizations, out patient procedures, any labs and testing, etc. In other words, you will not have to pay your deductible for physician visits or prescriptions, but anything else would be applied to your deductible first.

Remember though, you only pay out of pocket for the contracted rate. So let's say yo needed an MRI and the cost would be like $1,200. You would get a huge discount because B/S has contracted rates. So therefore, you'd probably only pay about $400.00 because of the contracted rate. Then this would be applied towards your $3,000.00 annual deductible. (These figures are just a guess to kind of show you how much of a discount insurance companies negotiate).

It sounds like a very good policy.~~
